Kick Back at the Oyster Roast

On February 26 from noon to 6 P.M., head down to On the Half Shell, just a short fifteen-minute drive from the Sun & Sand Resort. At the 4th Annual Surfrider Oyster Roast, visitors can chow down on freshly-harvested, all-you-can-eat oysters while sipping Bloody Mary’s from a number of local bars and restaurants as bartenders compete to see who makes it best. Those who prefer hoppier libations will want to try the specialty brews from New South Brewing. With your drink in hand, you can sit back and enjoy live music all evening from popular local bands like Oceans Orange and Throwin Peanutz at Monkeyz. Best of all, the proceeds from the Oyster Roast go toward efforts to keep Myrtle Beach’s Grand Strand clean and environmentally sustainable for generations to come.
