Greetings!

We hope everyone had a wonderful week. Please take a moment to look through the following information about your homeowners association at Sun N Sand Resort.  
 
Important Notes

 

 Guests: Please make sure all guests and outside parties sign in at the front desk. Myrtle Beach fire code dictates that we must be aware of all occupants within the building. Please make sure all guest and owners do not store items outside of the unit. The hallways have to be clear of items. Please ensure that all guests are not throwing liter off the balconies. 

 

 Cigarette Butts:  Please make sure you and your guest put cigarette butts in the ashtrays located in the designated smoking areas. If you smoke on your balcony, please make sure you have an ashtray for the butts rather than tossing them over the railing as this can create a very dangerous situation and a very unsightly mess around the resort.

 

Odors into the Hallway: If you create an odor in your unit that some may find offensive (odors from cooking, burning incense, etc.), please make sure the odor stays confined to your unit. Please remember the entire building is nonsmoking. If the odor appears to be the result of illegal activity taking place, the MBPD will be contacted immediately.

 

All homeowners: If owners or guest receive mail on property, please include the unit number. We would like to be sure everyone receives their mail.

If any homeowners intend to sell their unit, please contact myself. Several potential buyers contact me and I do not have information to provide them.

 

Disposal of trash: All homeowners and tenants must dispose trash into the designated trash bin. The trash bin is located in the breezeway of the resort. The trash will be collected on a daily basis. Please inform any tenants and/or cleaning companies of this policy. The HOA is not responsible for the disposal of construction or non-compactable items. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a fine.

Online Payment:We highly recommended using our online payment system to pay your monthly HOA dues. It is the most efficient and traceable method of payment. The online system accepts all debit and credit cards, as well as the option to set up automatic payments via ACH. You can access the online payment system via your homeowner website.

  3. Register your information under “New User Registration”

 Guests: Please make sure all guests and outside parties sign in at the front desk. Myrtle Beach fire code dictates that we must be aware of all occupants within the building. Please make sure all guest and owners do not store items outside of the unit. The hallways have to be clear of items. Please ensure that all guests are not throwing liter off the balconies. 

 Cigarette Butts:  Please make sure you and your guest put cigarette butts in the ashtrays located in the designated smoking areas. If you smoke on your balcony, please make sure you have an ashtray for the butts rather than tossing them over the railing as this can create a very dangerous situation and a very unsightly mess around the resort.

Odors into the Hallway: If you create an odor in your unit that some may find offensive (odors from cooking, burning incense, etc.), please make sure the odor stays confined to your unit. Please remember the entire building is nonsmoking. If the odor appears to be the result of illegal activity taking place, the MBPD will be contacted immediately.

Updated Flood Insurance: Our flood insurance policy has been renewed and the new certificates have been mailed to all homeowners.If any homeowners are requesting the declaration page, please email me directly at kmitchell@snsresort.com

HOA Dues Increase: Effective June 1, 2015, the HOA dues will increase by 10%. A “Notice of 2015 SNS POA Dues Increase” was e-mailed to all homeowners on April 16. A copy of this notice along with a letter outlining the new HOA dues amounts was mailed to all homeowners on April 16. If you have not received either the notice or the letter, please notify us immediately so that we may send you the information.

Important Notes

Guests: Please make sure all guests and outside parties sign in at the front desk. Myrtle Beach fire code dictates that we must be aware of all occupants within the building. Please make sure all guest and owners do not store items outside of the unit. The hallways have to be clear of items. Please ensure that all guests are not throwing liter off the balconies. 

Cigarette Butts:  Please make sure you and your guest put cigarette butts in the ashtrays located in the designated smoking areas. If you smoke on your balcony, please make sure you have an ashtray for the butts rather than tossing them over the railing as this can create a very dangerous situation and a very unsightly mess around the resort.

Odors into the Hallway: If you create an odor in your unit that some may find offensive (odors from cooking, burning incense, etc.), please make sure the odor stays confined to your unit. Building Updates

Lobby: We are pleased to announce that we are in the process of renovating the lobby. The wall covering have been completed. We have installed new recess lighting at the front desk, as well as recess lighting behind the desk. We are in the process of installing the new rock wall behind the front desk, and adding colored lights to accent the wall design. In addition, we have also ordered new sconces for the entire lobby.

Business Center: We are pleased to announce we have completed our business center. All guests, homeowners, and tenants are welcome to this service.

HOA Reception: We are pleased to announce Friday March 6th; we will host a reception for all homeowners attending the POA meeting on Saturday. Lobby: We are pleased to announce that we are in the process of renovating the lobby. We are removing the current wall covering in the entire lobby. The estimated time to take is between 30-60 days, as the current wall covers have been on there an extended period of time. There will be treatment required and possible repair in certain areas. Please be mindful of the debris while walking through the lobby.  Any thoughts concerns or ideas please do not hesitate to email us.  At this time process of completion will by the end of March.

Pavement Project: We are pleased to announce that we are in the process of paving our front entrance and loading dock area. This will create a flat surface and eliminate the holes created. We will start at Ocean Boulevard and work around the circle to the front entrance. The parking garage will be shut down during this procedure. There is street parking along Ocean Boulevard for all guests. The loading dock alley will be raised 6 inches so that it slopes to the drain. The holes will also be fixed to create a flat surface. The estimated time for completion will be one week. The parking spaces and bumpers have been repainted in the entire parking garage. Please be mindful of noise or debris.
